அதிலும் குறிப்பாக ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ் இயக்கிய தீனா படம் அஜீத்தை ஒரு மாஸ் ஹீரோவாக மாற்றியது. மேலும் அஜீத்தை தல என்று செல்லமாக அழைக்க வைத்ததும் தீனா படம் தான்.

முதல்படத்திலேயே ஒரு மாபெரும் வெற்றி படத்தை கொடுத்து பிரபல டைரக்டர்கள் வரிசையில் சேர்ந்தனர் எஸ்.ஜே.சூர்யாவும், ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸூம்.

இந்நிலையில் மீண்டும் அஜீத்தை வைத்து ஒரு படம் இயக்க முருகதாஸ் மற்றும் எஸ்.‌ஜே.சூர்யாவும் கடுமையாக போட்டி போடுவதாக தெரிகிறது. இருவரும் ஒரு கதையை ரெடி பண்ணி அஜீத்திடம் காண்பித்துள்ளனர்.

அதில் முருகதாஸின் கதை பிடித்து போக அவருக்கு ஓ.கே., சொன்னதாக தெரிகிறது. அதேசமயம் எஸ்.ஜே.சூர்யாவையும் ஒதுக்காமல் தங்களுடைய படத்திலும் நடிப்பதாக கூறியிருக்கிறார் அஜீத்.

தற்போது அஜீத் மங்காத்தா படத்தின் இறுதிகட்ட சூட்டிங்கில் இருக்கிறார். அதனைத்தொடர்ந்து சக்ரி டோலட்டி இயக்கும் பில்லா-2வில் நடிக்கிறார். பில்லா-2விற்கு பிறகு ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாஸ் படத்தில் அஜீத் நடிப்பார் எனத் தெரிகிறது.

Billa 2 to begin in June?

Ajith and Chakri Toleti (of Unnaipol Oruvan fame) are all set to begin the most awaited Billa 2 in June. The prequel is produced under the banner of Wide Angle Creations (led by George Pious and Suresh Balaje, son of producer-actor K. Balaje, who produced the original Billa with Rajinikanth in 1980) and presented by Mumbai based Sunir Kheterpal, CEO of IN Entertainment (India) Limited, part of the Hinduja Group. Popular model Huma Qureshi, who has done ads for many leading brands, will play the love interest of David Billa in this film.

The development team at INE in Mumbai is currently working on the story and screenplay of Billa 2 with inputs from the director. Unlike Shahrukh Khan's Don 2, Billa 2 is not a sequel, but is being designed as a prequel to Billa, which will focus on the journey of how David became Billa.  
Billa 2's technical team includes cinematographer Hemant Chaturvedi, editor Sreekar Prasad and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. Other details about the cast and crew will be finalized soon.

In response to our recently uploaded ‘Ajith’s Speed Drive Awes One And All’ where we had provided you with an IndiaGlitz exclusive video, of thala on a speed drive at the sets of ‘Mankatha,’ many of the Ajith's fans were overwhelmed with joy, no doubts, but also expressed their concern and requested their star idol to take care of himself and at least wear a helmet for such stunts…

On reading these, Ajith immediately responds to his fans and well-wishers through IndiaGlitz.He expressed that the particular scene in ‘Mankatha’ required him to do the speed drive without a helmet, and when it comes to real life, he takes utmost care while drive with apt safety measures.

Thala thanked his fans for the concern and also requested them to take all safety measures while driving…

‘Mankatha’ single track from May 20

So here’s the official confirmation and more updates about Ajith Kumar’s ‘Mankatha’. The single track is going through the processing of sound quality. The makers have decided to release the single track on May 20. The song ‘Vilaiyaadu Mankatha’ will be the single track with posters signed by our ‘Thala’. The CDs will cost Rs. 49/-…

The song is crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Ranjith, Suchitra, Premji Amaran and Anitha. The lyrics are penned by Venkat Prabhu’s father Gangai Amaran. In the past, the combination of Yuvan Shankar Raja, Venkat Prabhu and Gangai Amaran have churned out many chartbusters.

The teaser song of just 40Secs has raised everyone’s excitement levels.

What’s more interesting about the song is that it will have a mix of English and Hindi lyrics . Yuvan Shankar Raja has penned English lyrics while Suchitra has worked on Hindi lyrics.

Get ready for ‘Mankatha’ song

Singles seem to be the season of Tamil cinema. Close on the heels of ‘Vaanam’ team releasing ‘Evandi unnai pethaan…’ much before the official audio launch of the film, a similar attempt is now being made for ‘Mankatha’.

The complete audio song of the recently released teaser ‘Vilayadu Mankatha…’ will be launched soon as a single by Sony Music. This, director Venkat Prabhu and producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri feel, will elevate the expectations on the film.

The teaser released on the net on Ajith’s birthday (May 1) is already a huge success and has almost become a trend in the world wide web by receiving many a hit within a very short span of time.

Meanwhile, Vijay Antony too is planning to launch a single from his acting debut ‘Naan’, soon. The number, whose starting words are ‘Makka laya…’ will have racy beats like ‘Nakka Mukka…’, ‘Dailamo…’ and ‘Usuma Lasarey…’

Ajith plays Cop in ‘Mankatha’?

‘Thala’ fans across the globe are looking forward to ‘Mankatha.’ We have given you many first information reports on this Venkat Prabhu offing. The ‘Vilayadu Mankatha…’ song which was released on the eve of Thala’s birthday has upped expectations for the film many-fold. Ajith looks his usual handsome self and the dance moves appearing in the teaser video looks fantastic.

We came across an on-location photo of Ajith in ‘Mankatha’ and guess what? The actor was clad in a police officer’s costume! What we have heard so far is that Ajith’s character Vinayak Mahadevan in the film has grey shades and this is the first film where Ajith is shown in an out and out negative role without any flashbacks to substantiate for his wrong doings.

But with the release of this still picture expectations have soared higher. Will Ajith be a cop who has taken the bad boy’s role to unearth the evil forces? Or is he a police officer with negative traits? Or is he dressed like this to take the cops for a ride? These are the many questions that have popped up into our minds after seeing this still photo.

‘Mankatha’ is a multi-starrer film with Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea and many more actors donning various roles with credibility to carry the movie forward. The music for the film is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The director has planned to launch the single track ‘Vilayadu Mankatha…’ shortly.

It looks like producers and directors are obsessed with the idea of releasing single tracks! The latest to join the list is Ajith's much awaited 50th film Mankatha, directed by Venkat Prabhu. Now it is heard that Venkat Prabhu and Yuvan Shankar Raja will release the single track album of Mankatha next week. Sony BMG has recently bagged the audio rights of Mankatha for a record price.
Guess which song will be released as single track? Yes, it's 'Vilayaadu Mankatha', the same teaser track which has created a wave on the net.

Yuvan begins Billa 2

After completing Mankatha, music director Yuvan Shankar Raja has already started composing the songs of Ajith's much awaited Billa 2, to be directed by Chakri Toleti. Mankatha mania begins!

Some stylish posters and a 42 second song teaser has already begun the Mankatha mania in Tamil Nadu. Ajith's salt and pepper look is already winning accolades from all corners.
Cloud Nine Movies has produced this action thriller which is rumoured to narrate the story of  match-fixing sagas in international cricket matches. Arjun will play the role of an investigative officer who takes up the task of exposing the bookies. The film, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has a huge star cast which includes Trisha, Arjun, Lakshmi Rai, Anjali, Premji, Ashwin, Vaibhav, Mahant and others.

Thala’s breathtaking stunts for ‘Mankatha’

With almost major portions for the film ‘Mankatha’ completed, the team is planning for the final schedule at Bangkok. It is worthy recalling that we had a breaking news before few weeks that Venkat Prabhu and stunt choreographers are planning to shoot a Hollywood-styled stunt that will extend up to 10minutes of duration. Yes, it’s gonna happen and our Thala will flex his muscles with Action King Arjun and it will involve more in the team. The entire crew will be flying down to Bangkok by end of this week and the shooting will get-go from May 10.

And then, it’s the end of shooting with a grand music release awaited by end of May.

Let the celebrations begin. For the past couple of days, it has been a never-ending jubilation amongst ‘Thala’ fans and it’s all because of the 43secs teaser song. ‘Teaserae Ippadina, Appo Padam’ – Ah! It’s an awestricken scenario for everyone, even for the ones, who are following other actors.

Now we hear it from Venkat Prabhu and Yuvan Shankar Raja that the single track album of ‘Mankatha’, the same song ‘Vilayaadu Mankatha’ will be released next week.
